Famous people I met and the stories of those encounters
Daniel Vávra
In 2022, I was part of the team that organized the Game Developers Session in Smíchov, Prague. I was in charge of the media service, mainly filming the lectures of invited game developers. For example, people from Amanita Design or the creators behind Horizon: Zero Dawn arrived.
One of the speakers was Daniel Vávra, the author of the successful games Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Mafia. In his lecture he covered the topic "How to make a good quest" and it was one of the most interesting parts of the program. After it was over, I had the opportunity to meet him briefly and take a photo - a pleasant end to the whole day.
President Petr Pavel
Political debates and various public events were held regularly at my former high school. One of them was the pre-election presidential debate, during which the then-candidate Petr Pavel promised that if he won the election, he would return to us again. And he really kept his promise.
After the victory, he came to another school event together with his wife, who usually does not attend such performances, so her participation was a pleasant surprise. The program also included the official presentation of the new design of the presidential effigies, which later appeared in schools across the country.
Our school posted a version with a blue background... the color that symbolized our institution at the time. It was a moment that gave the whole visit a special and unique character.
Apache
Apashe is a world-renowned producer who originally combines electronics with elements of classical music. When I learned that he was shooting a music video in Prague, I didn't hesitate and signed up to be an extra. In the end, it turned out even better than I expected, not only did they choose me, but they even offered me several smaller roles. It was a great experience and a chance to see behind the scenes of the work of one of my favorite artists.
